Hi folks. Haven't contributed to the usual drivel for a while but have been dropping in and reading dozens upon dozens if not several, or perhaps just one or two posters!
Anyway, as I was saying just had to comment on The Daily Mail's article listing 'OUR' Top 10 Funny Girls in the whole wide world or universe even. Here's something to whet your whistle!

For 30 years her brilliantly-observed humour and zany repartee have brought laughter to millions.
Now Victoria Wood's genius for making mirth out of the mundane has earned her the title of top female comic of all time.
In second and third place are Dawn French - best known in the title role of The Vicar Of Dibley - and Kathy Burke, who played Waynetta Slob in Harry Enfield's Television Programme.
(Circa; Daily Flucking Snail on a balmy August).

Don't you just love the zany repartee bit. When I think of what I've read in the daily's recently I think of Morecombe and Wise, The Krankies and the Chuckle Brothers being associated with the title of zany repartee.
Making Mirth is another - 'Make Mirth, Not Bread' mustuv surely been the mantra of the 60's commediennes breaking out of their post-war humdrum, shackled lives. Looks like the Muslim world has some catching up on that count mind you.
Qu - Do Muslim men push prams? No, it's not a joke, do they? Do they push shopping trolleys? Do they do a food shop? Do they iron? Do they change nappies?
This has nothing to do with this post but I observed a situation today which, well, let's just say that you probably won't find many funny Muslim women on this blog tonite or any nite for that matter!
Anyway, getting back to my point, Dawn French actually commented that she was suprised that the likes of her and V.Wood hadn't been usurped (another fav word of mine) by younger, funnier comediennes!
Have to admit I do find Dawn French funny, especially in the Vicar of Dibly. To this day I still sometimes baulk at the sign of a sprout. Anyway, getting to the point of all this - 'Humour is surely in the ears/eyes of the beholder' or so to speak, BUT,
WHO DO YOU THINK ARE THE FUNNIEST FEMALES ON BLOG.CO.UK and WHY?
Now listen everyone, this isn't personal but keeping up with blogs for some of us is almost impossible. So, people like me want to know who the funny people are.
Why?
Because they are surely a damn sight funnier than several wot the Mail are putting out - if you catch my drift. There's so much talent out there in blogland it's unbelievable. It's never tapped because people just don't get the opportunity or the breaks. It's never tapped because there are alot of people in high places who don't want it to be tapped. I pay my license fee. I think you all know wot I mean. I'll get my coat.
2 funny ladies who happen to be on my friends list who I think are both hilarious in their own different ways(2 dots and a dash) Fatal Attraction & Janey Godley. And before you ask they aren't a double act, although - Godley Attraction (Sitcom Title and a spin off of Vicar of Dibley starring Dawn of the French and Victoria IWoodbefunnyifIsaidafewfucksandbuggerslikeJaneyinanoutrageousGlaswegiandrawl); Fatal Janey (Cartoon Strip - could be a bit sad, could be a bit risque, on the edge if you wink, wink know wot I mean). That's enuff from me.
This isn't a comeback it's an embarrassment! Tho it could be worse, I could be vying for bloggers attention with some 'word of the day' nonsense. Grab it while you can I say! Shit, wot was my point?
